All the vehicles are attending the plane. Rare to see this with a lot of people
I guess they wanted to be sure the Singapore Airlines logo was easy to spot ; )
Real life shot. Looking forward to flying this bird from ZRH to SIN and to spend a day on the SIN observation gallery.
Really BIG!!! | |
Great! I like the activity around the big bird.
Wow.. I actually thought that emirates would get the first A380 since they ordered so many but yeah. Don't know why Singapore had the privilege. But hey. Nice Pic
Great bird!! Boeing long dreamed about it, Airbus did it!!! What an achievement in terms of engineering advancement!!! The revolution has started just in the same way Boeing revolutionised travelled with the 747 some 40 years ago. Well done Airbus and Boeing for keeping our dreams alive!!!
BIG!!!!!!!!! | |
Even with all the troubles the Whale is still a impressive sight.
If someone mistakenly push the throttle , all those people will be sucked like dirt...kool aid anyone ??
And to think, all that ground equipment and crew could fit inside!!
I love singapore airlines , and this is the beast , nice foto mate
'Let's top her up...' Hmm no matter how many ground crew come to aid, it must take a considerable amount of time to refuel this bird completely, perhaps a 40-60 minutes.
UFO's A380 and a lotta little green humanoids! :) Nice shot of quite terrestrial view
It uses less fuel than the 20 year old design of the 747-400 however the new revolutionary 747-8 will use a lot less fuel than the a380 and carry only 50-100 less.
Love this airline. Love those huge engine nacelles. The wings on this beast are elegant. The odd shape of the fuselage though...that's something only an airbus fan could love :)
Great shot and Bird ! | |
'Ok boys, we have 10 minutes to turn this a/c around! We need every ground handler and cleaner we can get!' Great image, really gives you a good comparison and scale of the A380.
Beautiful plane, carries more passengers than a 747 and still uses less fuel!! what a wonder!! great pic
A lot of people ... majestic bird
This is one of the nicest A380 pictures! Especially that catering truck on second deck! Very nice. Presumably that catering company thought of servicing the upper-deck more efficiently!
It shows how huge this thing is. People look like ants next to it.
It's very nice but the boeing 777 will stay the best and the nicest bird flying in tthi planet
I have to admit that she is the most majestic bird on the planet, but not the most beautiful. The boeing 757 will always be the hottest plane ever to be designed. Its fuselage is curved in such way, and no other planes of my knowledge are like that. Grteat shot
Fine shot of the ground test! Nobody will be able to get a shot like this in Seattle when it happens. But what happens when two of these beasts arrive in America from Tokyo and London at the same time? A thousand people through Customs all at once? Boeing and Airbus had quite a poker game in the early 1990s about this plane. Boeing folded; wisely, I think, given the 787 we came up with in response. Airbus hasn
Stunning and powerfull view, but I'm still thinking It's uglier than 747..
Thats wat we would consider a nice day in singapore, and i agree a picture of this next a 744 would be great
Fantastic plane bet u.s whish they had built this beauty
Can't wait for the first pics of this bird when she flies into CYUL. ++ Love seeing technology at work around it. Something slightly uncomfortable and awe inspiring about that catering truck.
The big plane, the fabulous shape.excellent view of the photo.
The a380 at the gate looks amazing. very ugly plane though.b777,787,747, 757 look far better. good shot, though!
So it doesn't look as big as a 747??? well let me remind you: IT IS bigger than a 747
AWSOME | |
SIA has done it again..."First To Fly".... Can't wait till I board this baby in December!! SIA will be flying this Big baby for their Singapore - London and Singapore Sydney route.
My father used to fly for klm, i have found this plane to be of the most superior of all, looks and comfort are mostly reconised first, and the techinal engering is superb. i wish you all safe and happy flying time on beard her, all the best christina slooves
Great photo of such an incredible jumbo. Maybe it's just me, but it still doesn't look all that huge compared to a 747.
Nice picture of this a380 bird......but b777 and b747 is still the mightiest bird in the industry
No matter how i look and how many times i look at it, it still doesn't look bigger thank a boeng 747
Wow!!!!!! i hade never seen anything like it before. Only if an american airline could fly opne of those. great shoot by the way.
I have seen some big planes, but this one boggles my mind. building something this big that will actually fly...amazing!! Hub Hubbard, Tucson AZ
Nice picture dude! keep it good.. i hope phillipine airlines have that one soon..
I cant wait to see this in service flying into heathrow. Does anyone know if any other major british airline besides virgin will aquire this beautiful bird? lovely shot well done can truly get an idea of what to expect now if i ever get the chance to fly on one!
Lol, I departed to Den Pasar from gate E5 almost 3 months ago :D
I love your picture. Connor Short p.s. i love planes
Excellent!!! I want to visit Singapore eargerly to see this beauty!!!
What if Airbus builds a 3 decker passenger aircraft? Will there be a catering truck to go up there? I wanna see that! :)
Are those people midgets or is that plane HUGE ? It will be great if someone got a shot of these giant parked beside a 747 for size comparison.
Wow.. beautiful picture
I'm just wonder when this huge monster gets the real hard work!
Like ussual.......... I like it.... Give me an insight how an A380 will be handled in the future.........
That is unbelieve about catering truck made higher on the upper deck. I am still can't believe it for first testing on catering truck. Does catering will able unloading or loading the carts? Great Shot, Andrew! :)
Hi Andrew, this pic of yours is just great, thanks for sharing it with us all. We all wonder what the A380 will look like when we see it in full operationable service and your pic has helped us see that. It's a great pic, excellently composed. As for the Yank commenting that "It's a shame that the weather wasent good as this photo would look better." Well you know and the rest of us know that the cloudy sky gives it a dramatic back drop, so it is spot on!!!!! All the best from Ady :)
I read an article in a greek newspaper that the tests arent going as well as Airbus intended! Supposingly they have a major problem with the flexibility of the wings. The article said that the A380 approval may be delayed a year !!!
A380 Power. Thats what i like.
Thats the way i would like to see it wen it went to medellin colombia
Wow great shot! look at all those people!! -Zach Kuhn, Myaviation.net username F-WWCC
Does anyone know what routes it´ll fly?
The Leviathan devours people! Looking forward to seing this in Zurich.
This is real fair grounds, thanks all of contributers for their efforts.
Yehh baby! | |
Looks like in FRA. very good!
So they finally got their toy :) Very beautiful picture!
I like this photo but it is a shame that the whether wasent good as this photo would look better!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Taking inflight catering literally to new heights! Randall
It’s always good to go with your gut instinct Andy. Interesting shot and it shows. Good work. –Carlos B
Just great!!! | |
Does anyone know if any major American Airline will be flying this aircraft????
Great photo! Oh! it's so big plane. I like that!
Very cool photo!!! its Huge!!!
Plenty of action in this shot. A very special day for Changi in its firsts gate excercises for the A380. T.B.
So labour-intensive! great shot!
What a beaultyfull lady !
Great shot!Notice that SATS has change its "livery" on their vehicles.
Really nice pic, but I sure hope that catering truck has some serious side supports when the windy season comes :)
We are looking at picture which we will see very common in next few years (Cheers~ )
Very nice, really shows how fast we really are moving through aviation. Really looking forward to flying in this bird.
Nice photo, be great to finally see the A380 in Perth in 2006 or 2007, hopefully the sooner.
Great stuff, love it! A picture where the ground equipment adds to the picture, instead of detracting. Thanks for sharing.
This is a great shot... Shows how commited the Singaporeans really are in getting things done right...
Now that looks Kick ass! Very cool photo showing what its gonna be like having the A380 in service! Junior747
Wow, a glimpse of things to come... Those caterers will need safety harnesses though!
This is a fantastic picture, so much action. Great capture, thanks.
