The right main wheel blew out on landing and the Captain used maximum reverse thrust to slow her down. Shown in this photo is a combination of smoke from the burning rubber and a massive amount of dust from the reversers. The Airport fire trucks followed this aircraft but were not needed and I must say this was a very exciting photo to capture.

I know the Capt...MLW with the xwind way outside limits as was winds at all other diversion airports meaning LDG LAX was the way it had to be, after initial tyre blow-outs on LDG others deflated on bay. No HVY LDG recorded so all in all a great effort.
