Ever since I started taking photos, I wished to one day capture my dad in action. It finally happened in winter light with beautiful New Zealand landscape. I couldn't ask for more!

Great focus and detail with nice shadows in the early/late light. Looks like Dad held off on the steep climb out for a gorgeous photo!

Very cool shot, the landscape is terrific. The perspective makes the aircraft look as if it's landing in the field. And even better to have your dad at the controls, that's special. Don't lose this pic. - great memories are in store.

Awesome pic and a great dedication for your Dad. Print out a glossy hi-def version of this, frame it and give it to him! Forget A380 this is a real mans plane.

When someone you know is a pilot for an airline it's really cool. To be able to capture a photo of them during one of the challenging moment in an every day flight with them at the controls is a real special moment. I can see your dad cherishing this photo. Beautiful Photo, well done!

Lovely and lively picture. With dark Background, and the Sunshine illuminating the big bird, and the grass land , it is a feast for eyes.

Beautiful shot, Mr. Kowsari. One of the rare moments when AKL has splendid weather. I lived in NZ for a couple of years, and I barely see this sort of weather while chillin' out at the Airport. And kudos to your father, wonderful approach there. :D

This is an absolutely incredible photograph in so many ways; capturing one's father flying a 747 is fantastic (BTW, thanks for sharing that with us Kavin) The beautiful landscape is bathed in sunlight, while above the plane appears to be very "ominous" weather! A very rare photo indeed. Charley

One of my instant favorites Kavin, as well as my new desk top. Vibrant greens and the long shadow cast by the tree set the mood. Thanks to you, and your Pop!
