Airbus A340-541 - Singapore Airlines

This shot shows how beefy the new wing on the A345 is. Looks like the pilot spooled up No. 2 engine to help with the right turn. Those Trent 553 engines are huge. This aircraft was the first SIA A345 ever built but was the third airplane delivered. She was retained by Airbus for some developmental testing before being refurbished for airline service. The slight nose down attitude characteristic of the A330/340 is also evident from this nose shot. [EOS 10D, EF 100-400L]
