Had damn luck with the weather as we only had actually three evenings available in London for a possible LHR ride during typical so-so weather conditions. London was the first touch of our backpacking journey through the UK and was already a good deal (and I mainly did seightseeing - really ;)). The second A380 in the evening sequence makes its way down to 27L right overhead - yes - Hatton Cross.

What specially attracts me is the golden reflection of the left wing in this magnificent plane. also it's wonderful if you see the pilots like dwarfs, rising these giant into sunset. excellent coloured!

So close to the ground... look at the reflection on the forward fuselage

The pilots don't look very busy from this angle. Actually they look pretty relaxed considering it is the final approach. Maybe they aren't really busy indeed - after all this beast is flying by itself :). It's a great picture, one of the most impressive golden-reflection style shots I've seen.

Ooooo awesome picture of the pilots in the cockpit.
This would have been good for a Promo picture for the Boeing 747's competitor.
