A visitor from Singapore posted Sat February 12, 2011: Yes the a330 was flying in 1998, check wikipedia, i was the pilot who flew that plane in, i remember it was very tense, the passengers, most were hongkees but were still scared, my co-pilot was very jitterish and so i did the landing, was a hard one, but we made it down

A visitor from Thailand posted Wed April 16, 2008: I have been traveling Southeast Asian countries late 70s and facinated every time whenever I land Kai Tak airport. Some time captain likes steep turn and try to pick laundry on the top of building up right before landing. All were good memory now. I lost a chance to land on there after wards but my wife stopped over for transit on the way back to Tokyo but she had to suffer mess on the way to BKK because of opening of new airpot, Cheprak Kok(?).
