Perfect ! | |
Same size as fuselage cross section of a 737... that means the turbofan is approximately 3.6 meters in diameter then. Well, let's say: twice the length of this bloke. Yep.
"Right... 12 AA Batteries... One there, one there, take that one ou- DAMNIT! I broke the red ribbon!"
I think the very fact that you can actually troubleshoot or inspect this huge engine through such small spacse, is more amazing than just the massiveness of it alone. Great capture.
Wow the scale of a person to the aircraft is amazing!
How awesome and brillance of the human race to build something this huge and power full!truly incredible!
What if the engine started up when he was there.
It's amazing that someone as big as that person actually flys this beast!
This picture really shows just how BIG the 777's are. Brilliant, crisp quality. 5 stars, Bravo Jean-Charles!
Truly a breathtaking pic, those engines are really huge.
I just realized that the day this picture was taken, I was staring at it from inside the terminal ready to head home. Very nostalgic for me, as it was my first trip outside of the US, and I also took a few pictures of this very aircraft myself. Thanks for bringing back the memories for me!
Nonck, nock... Is there anybody here? ...and seriously this photo show how big is 777 engine. For me awesome!
Is he checking the dipstick?
That is one truly amazing shot and does capture the true size of the 777 in general, not just the engines.
A fine GE90-115B. 115,000 pounds of thrust and the same diameter as the 737NG fuselage!!! What a monster, and a great shot, too!
This photo confirm Me one thing that I've listened some time ago, the diameter of the 777's turbine is the same diameter of the 737's fuselage, and this photo shows perfectly it. Congratulations!
Great photo... I once heard that the diameter of a 777 engine is the same size as a 737 fuselage... may not be true but from the looks of this photo is certainly plausible.
I am lost of words. What an enormous engine and by the way, it is very clean! A very great picture. Really!
Awesome shot becauuse it puts into persepctive the size of the engine. I love the splash of colour from the red tool box and the yellow tabard.
Great picture showing the shear size of the BOEING 777 series aircraft.
