HB-VMO (cn 560-5061) Pratt & Whitney PW545A engines give the Excel a high thrust-to-weight ratio, which means it will climb to 43,000 feet in only 22 minutes at gross weight. The straight-wing design provides excellent take-off performance. High and hot at 5,000 feet, the Excel requires only 4,840 feet for take-off.
