N92N (cn 53093) The Channel 9 news chopper is getting refueled to go out again and cover the 1,000 acre forest fire burning just 1 1/2 or 2 miles away from the airport. Over 1,000 people were evacuated in the New Smyrna Beach area, and a portion of Interstate 95 was closed as the westerly winds pushed the fire dangerously near the town. Check out the sun in the upper right hand corner glowing through the thick smoke, which covered the sky.
