Three fabulous aircraft over glorious countryside with lighting that makes it all look like a Robert Taylor painting. One of the very best photos yet. Great work Milan.

This is undoubtedly one of the best "Legacy" photos I have ever seen, for all the reasons already mentioned........plus.....look at the terrain folks! The damned countryside is as sharp as the planes! Taken by a VERY good air to air photog, I can guarantee you! Nice job Mr.Nykodym!

A great shot! Merci !

A visitor from Canada posted Thu July 1, 2010:
Quite amazing - seems like the Hurricane is going at full blast while the two jets are close to a stalling speed.

A visitor from Finland posted Thu July 1, 2010:
I bet all the pilots have a hard time.. The two trailers trying to stay in the air.
Nice lighting also!

Oh my GOD, at last the real Battle of Britain hero is recognized, what a terrific than fighter with her 12 machines gun .303 which sprayed 240 rounds per second, still unmatched even by today standard...70 years later, how I love that damn warbird...

A visitor from Mexico posted Wed June 30, 2010:
It looks like the mig and the saab are getting bored in that speed

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Wed June 30, 2010:
Great, but not only the aircraft themselves. You can see at how large AoA both the MiG-29 and the Gripen have to fly to match the speed of lighter Hurricane!

A visitor from Sweden posted Wed June 30, 2010:
I wonder which one would win a dogfight. I'd actually put my money on the Hurricane.

It looks as though the Hurricane is wide upen while the Mig is nearly stalling.

Just an amazing shot! Beautiful! Who thought an English, a Russian and a Swedish fighter would all be in the same picture! 5 stars for sure!
