N8SL (cn AF-897) In December 1966, the conversion of a stretched variant was undertaken which would eventually lead to the 15-seat Volpar Turboliner 1 which was certificated on 29 March 1968. The fuselage had been stretched by 81in (2.07m) and TPE-331-101b engines had been installed. Its maiden flight on 12 April 1967. Originally for Allegheny Commuter as N342V.
