Remark Photographer
168 The Tabloid was an important aircraft - conceived in 1913 as a two-seater racer, in 1914 a floatplane version won the famous Schneider Trophy. She was converted to military use, and used in WW1. On 08-Oct-1914, no 167 and 168 took off from Antwerp to destroy the Luftwaffe's Zeppelin airship sheds. The new Zeppelin Z.IX was sucessfully destroyed in Dusseldorf, but the Cologne raid was unsuccessful and the bombs were instead dropped on Cologne's railway station. This is a full-size replica.
