Angle of shot with background suppling visual aids (cars, building etc)that propel the focus on the size of the plane relative to it's surrounding

Well, I was tought that you could get a barndoor to fly, it's just a question of power, this is the living proof of this theory.
and the whale is smiling too!

A visitor from United States posted Fri November 28, 2008:
Curious to know the load, which would help to know the power being displayed!

A visitor from - posted Wed November 12, 2008:
I see it everyday. Flys over my home everyday. Been about 15 yeards away from it when it was being loaded. Kind of a good day.

Compared to the DreamLifter, the Beluga is a really nice plane - always a highlight when it comes in at XFW.

This is a great shot, it used to pass over my football practice every afternoonwhen I lived in Hamburg. It was always delivering the A380 parts or something similar. Mind you the A380 came across quite a bit too!

A visitor from United States posted Fri June 20, 2008:
Honk honk! :D this plane is funny.

A visitor from France posted Fri June 20, 2008:
You would see her more often in Toulouse-Blagnac (France).
It reminds me a flight when a Super Guppy, during a crew training exercice, has cut the long final's path of my little Robin DR400...full gaz and max climb to avoid her huge vortex !

A visitor from - posted Fri July 13, 2007:
I don't know what it is but when ever I see this thing it makes me laugh, great timing for an awesome pic.

A visitor from United States posted Sun December 25, 2005:
Along with the Super Guppy, it's amazing what actually gets off the ground sometimes. This shot provides a great 3/4 angle.

A visitor from United States posted Wed December 21, 2005:
Beluga is the name of a whale i see why they named it that. Great shot, don't see something like this every day.
