You'll probably never see a 747 landing on a 6500 ft runway again. Here she is touching down on runway 34 after a test flight from Shannon (SNN). In the background are Aer Lingus' two last remaining Fokker 50's. As I'm writing these words they have left the fleet taking EI to an all-jet fleet once again (Picture 2 of 3)

This beauty arrived a few months after I arrived in Ireland, from Durban, SA. Funnily enough I had flown on her from JHB to LHR, en route to DUB. Still think SAA are the best airline flying, in terms of service. And look at that tail!
