I wonder if boeing would have kept the 727 in production if southwest had kept with the 727's instead of the 737's ???

Great picture of Southwest wearing the skin of one of it's victims. There would be many more just like it as the years go by.

My father, Captain Paul Willey, flew this aircraft several times as a Captain for Braniff from 1967 to 1980 after Braniff bought PANAGRA in 1967
