That's what life is all about!!! This old c/s Southwest B737 beautifully climbs out from runway 24L as Speedbird B744 just landed on 24R. Visit LAX and its California girls as The Beach Boys would recommend let me too!!!

Excellent shot of a beautiful moment. The bird's eye view of the small 737 climbing away from big brother dropping its shadow on the runway.

The angle is great, i'm curious as to how you got such an angle! All the detail including the shadow of the 737 is crisp, and clear.
Thanks again for yet another magnificent picture.

The perspective of the planes seen froma cenital view makes this picture interesting to the eye, not to mention the position of the departing plane and its shadow, the composition demands a lot of attention!!... Great picture!

My guess is this was taken while flying through the Mini Route or LAX Special Flight Rules corridor that goes right over the top of LAX. It's meant for GA planes to get from one side of LAX Class B to the other without having to talk to ATC too much or taking the long way around.
