A variation on the engine close-up shot. During a 5Y (five year) check, this No.1 engine had its fan cowls removed, nose cowl robbed and fan blades taken out for inspection of the dovetail surfaces. This shot gives a good view of the EEC, oil tank and ignition exciter boxes (all on the inboard side).
