After many years slowly deteriorating outside, this important exhibit is now undergoing restoration. In 1944 12 Dutch-built Do 24s were delivered to Spain on the understanding they would be used to aid downed airmen of both sides. After the war, a few French-built aircraft were also received. They operated till at least 1967; among the survivors, one ex-Spanish example now flies as the turboprop-powered Do 24 ATT conversion
