988 (cn 8345908) Once this 'Cub' was flying with Iraqi Airways as YI-AER, and that is visible. Iraq's flag and colours differ not so much from Sudan's, so the modification was quickly done. The hull lays here at the end of the main rwy of Wau, but was dragged some 100m away by a tank, about a month after the picture was taken. It is unclear if the plane has had an accident or if it was just withdrawn from use.
