Great capture of this event! The gear in fact did 'fail'... wait for it (I'm sure the pilots did)... failed to make an appearance. Well, Sukhoi should be happy with the results, they now know that their little Superjet 100 can safely land on its engine pods if piloted by pilots with skill. Nice save!

Apparently, the undercarriage failed completely because the landing gear did not lower at all.

The emergency slide on the co-pilot side seems to be installed backwards.

Me and my friend were thinking maybe they forgot to lower the landing gear, or retracted the landing gear while in contact with the runway while speeding up after touching down. they probably thought they were in the air and pulled in the gear. hopefully its not a full loss and can be repaired

Official investigations just came out ! and that's a lot more complicated than we thought !
