It's a pretty 'SuperStrange' view: the cockpit of the 3rd, newest, flight prototype still remains uncovered, flat, smoothless and 'military-ascetic'. Also those 'naked' cables don't make this modern cockpit more sexy.

It looks a good bit like an Airbus cockpit.

I like this shot and it reminds me pretty much on our vehicle prototypes which we also do not test in a customer salable condition. Cable and preliminary or missing interior parts are part of our daiuly life as well. As car engineer its like normal life and I appreciate that you have been able to do such a rare shot.
Regards, hope more to come

Finally! No more green!

Best of luck to Sukhoi, hope they can go beyond the usual sphere of influence (same to Antonov with the An-148).

Look's very basic and cheap to me. What ever happened to Russian green?

Great picture

I'm guessing why it looks slightly reminiscent of Airbus is because the Avionics and FMC are supplied by Thales who also kits out the Airbus range...

After seeing the cockpit I'm certainly a lot less against the SSJ - it looks great!

It shows how far cockpit design has come over the last 60 years. Yet, the two upper corners of the central instrument box seem sharp enough to hurt when entering the seat on either side.

Interesting that the panels are now in English. Are they aiming it at the Western market?
