N959RT / MK959/5A-K (cn CBAF.8125) Wings Over Houston 2007. This Spitfire was built and delivered to the Royal Air Force in 1944 and was allocated to the 329 Free French Squadron. In 1946 the Royal Netherlands Air Force acquired the aircraft. From 1955 to 1987 the aircraft was displayed on a pole at Eindhoven AB in the Netherlands. In 1995 the aircraft was moved to the USA for restoration. The aircraft flew again 2004 and is painted in the colors it wore on D-Day while serving with the 329 Free French Squadron.
