The photo seems to be taken close to where i grew up as a kid (north of Sweden), looking at the coat of arms on top of the vertical stabilizer. I grew up seeing (and hearing!) these planes sweeping over my house, when they were out on training missions. Now that airforce base is closed. Sad.

No, not a pilot but a private with the transportation pluton on F 16 base in Uppsala. Then we had J 35 Draken (Dragon) and the first J/A 37 Viggens where fasing in. Know the very potent Canrard from SAAB is fasing out of the Swedish airforce.
