A visitor from United States posted Thu January 25, 2007:In reply to: A visitor from United Kingdom posted Thu December 22, 2005: "Fantastic shot but i wish air forces took a bit more pride in there apearance these to need a good scrub." On the contrary, I think the worn appearance of the fighters gives this shot a lot of character and makes it much more interesting to look at. Gives it a real "Cold War" feel. If the planes were shiny and new-looking it would be a much less dramatic photo (relatively speaking). Nice work!

A visitor from Chile posted Mon March 6, 2006:An incredible fighter. The Viggen, a cold war era fighter; a steel knight of the three crowns kingdom. Awesome.
A visitor from United States posted Wed March 1, 2006:Now that IS a great air-to-air shot, not by some photographer renting a Cessna and flying over an airport 6000 feet above, taking takeoff or landing "air-to-ground" shots and saying that they are air to air. Good work, Jan, on a true great series of real air to air Photos!!!! Joe Fernandez, Miami FL

Simply - I like position of camera relatively to both planes, 2nd planes gives aspect of movement and background gives you feeling of fly. Bye Viggen

Thanks for sharing it at 1600 pixels. When I posted my grainy old shot of a Viggen at Farnborough 72 I had no idea it was just a week til the Viggen was withdrawn, M West, UK
