This was and remains one of the most beautiful aircraft ever created. Proud to state that my grandfather ran a drop hammer that helped form the the forward fuselage on the 'Connie' and my first flight from LAX to ORD was aboard this plane owned and under the livery of Trans World Airlines in 1963. | |
