Kinda reminds me of old Northwest Orient livery.
The clarity of the shot taken at the moment the rear wheels are on the runway, but the front has not yet touched down is wonderful.
I flew on one of these 747-300s back in 1993 from Zurich to Atlanta. Loved the jet and loved Swissair. Never thought such a great airline would go bankrupt. How sad that was.
Unfortunately Swissair forever is a little bit... wrong. Pic is from 1997, in '98 they had the tragic MD11 crash off the coast of Canada and three years later came 9/11, which was the the final push for them. Sucks of course, but nonetheless it happened. Pic is very nice tho, dynamic, the red accents look cool in the otherwise white world.
I wouldn't like to land this baby on such an icy runway :]
Brilliant! Swissair forever!
Perfect shot! Nice contrast and perspective!
One of the best shots I´ve ever seen. T.B.
