He can't drop bombs tho unless his target is up. Landing is a trick, and ejection is just plain out if he's too low. Other than that, nice flying job...(all in jest - great shot!)

A visitor from Switzerland posted Tue October 26, 2010: I'm not the photographer but I guess the picture was taken during the annual Axalp flight demonstration by the Swiss Air Force. I know this area well, congrats to the photographer since a little effort has to be made to take this picture. Hiking up to 2700m with heavy gear needs a health constitution;)Piotr is standing on top of a mountain, and the jets are pulling their turn there directly above your heads. Just a different perspective from the famous axalp shooting range. The "cloud" is actually fog, which is unfortunately very common in the valleys during autumn in Switzerland!

Are you in the lead jet, flying inverted, photographing the F-18 in regular flight, mountains behind below a grey sky... Or are you in regular flight, photographing the F-18 in inverted flight with a cloud deck below you and the mountain peeks above it? This one's a head scratcher alright! Nice addition!
