Good shot Dirk. An 18 just absolutely ripping it up
Very nice | |
Made in Suisse. | |
What a big bird... That is one very big cockpit...If you compare it with F-16
You have some very amazing timing :P
This has gotta be one of the best shots in A.net. Remarkable!
Amazing!! | |
The most fantastic picture on this site. Serious props to the photographer.
This is awesome, wish I could get that close
Cool picture! | |
Very cool to see aggressive maneuvers like that caught very close up and clear
Amazing!!! Great Shot! Giorgio
Great picture man! | |
Stunning power! Crisp photo! Love the background!
Great moment captured.

Now that is a picture! and that is a plane, really great.
Wow this is an amazing capture.Congrats.
Excellent | |
Great shot!!!!! | |
Amazing... when can i buy it
I am set to be a future US Naval strike fighter pilot, and I just love this shot.
The close-up of this shot is outstanding. One of the best fighter shots I have ever seen.
Great angle and condensation.
Skilled cameraman- YES! great looking and performing plane YOU BET!
This is an excellent picture! It has a very high quality definition and the plane was captured just right in the moment when it was at MACH 1.0, crossing through the sound barrier. Also, the fighter was snapped from a very good angle.
Very nice shot about a high-speed aircraft. The fog behind tells that this bird is really pushing it to the limit.
A beautiful F/A18 | |
The best shot from Axalp I have ever seen, only the sound is missing ;-)!!!
I bet that they are both grunting
Wow | |
Perfect dynamic & close framing, artistic yet still keeping documentary value - subtle lighting, good control of contrejour - speed impression with low shutter speed yet perfectly sharp
Absolutely awesome capture. The only thing I would like to see are the wingtips. ;)
Absolutely Great - looks like a shot out of another plane !
Amazing... feels like you're right there with him. Great shot!
One of the best shots I've ever seen... and I'm on here alot! Misha
What a fantastic shot, to capture the speed and movement of the Hornet in a split second. Conveying the speed is difficult in a photograph but the condensation achieves this. If I only took one shot of this quality in my life I would consider this an achievement well done.
This is incredible! I agree that this is the best action shot on A.net! All the effects work together for an incredible view! Great job Voortmans!
Amazing shot!! One of the best action shots at airliners.net
Nice job, the colors, reflections & condensation combine to create a unique effect.
Really good shot. Respect!
Very nice shot! I wish I was there!
