Nice photo of the jet! I now own this airplane, having obtained it in July 2008 from the first civilian owner. The jet and it's sistership were flown across the Atlantic in 1991 to the USA, and this trip was documented in the book "Ghosts and Goblins Across the Atlantic" written by Paul McMinn, who made the flight. This Vampire is likely the most perfectly preserved fliable Vampire in the world, and is now housed at the Quonset Air Museum, in North Kingstown, Rhode Island USA, where it joins my MiG-15, Fouga Magister, and Grumman OV-1C Mohawk to form the flying collection at the museum. Come and see it. Best, Dave Sutton
