Funny how the contrails of both planes drift together after some 300ft or so. How come? At the SP its the left wing and at the 744 the right one...

The contrails are rotating around each other due to the pressure differential above and below the wing. The ones furthest away appear to merge due to parallax, whereas really one is just behind the other.

That 747 may look worse in the Sky, but there is no airliner that has as much power as the SP. So for that I prefer the SP here.
