Sick of LAX Heli spotting? Here is the alternative, Miami! While LAX Heli spotting prove to be easy and close, it isn't the same case at Miami. You have long separations and need long lens. Hope Miami's populaity soar just like LAX in due time! [Nikon D800]

I am personally not sick of LAX heli spotting. Great that other photographers also have the opportunity to take some photos from above!

First photo in a long time where I didn't guess the airport. Nice change indeed.

I like this picture much better than your LAX shots - you can see the titles and logo and has a great effect with the lake in the background instead of that Legoland look.

I personally like this much better than the LA shots. I find a side view more appealing than the above shot

Outstanding aircraft, cramped seats!

Most of the "heli spotting" done at LAX is, I think, actually done from conventional fixed-wing aircraft. LAX has rather unusual aerial flyways that run directly over the airport perpendicular to its four parallel runways, making it possible for small, GA aircraft to fly low and slow right through some of the busiest airspace on the west coast and take all those amazing shots we routinely see. I think that's the source of those frequent air-to-air shots we see.

You should try more than just the large airports with helispotting.
