| A visitor from Portugal posted Sun March 12, 2006: The long haul growth of TAP Portugal is due to Brazil (growth in turistic flow from Portugal to Brazil, and migration flow from Brazil to Portugal. Portuguese charter companies can say the same). Thanks Brazil for that, and besides... it was a long expected potential market that was forgotten for a long time. It would be like British Airways not taking advantage of british cultural ties with the U.S. to fly to any big city there. Given the increase of these Portugal-Brazil ties, and taking a good look at Brazil´s population... you can seat back for some steddy increasing on next years, specially if the economic situation on both countries improves. | |
