It's so unusual to get this perspective from an aircraft in a clean configuration! I only regret not having been there but this great photo somehow makes up for it.

There is no slats = No flaps. It is the best configuration for an airplane = Best photo

The airplane looks like it's coming right at you...as though it's going to hit you right between the eyes. A definite 5-starts for this photo! If I had been standing there, you bet I'd duck low...~SMILE~

Beautiful, beautiful photo of a great a/c. It must have been flying quite fast, with no flaps. Amazing how the photographer managed to capture it so well. 5 stars, for sure!

Thank you all for your comments, it was a very nice farewell... I'll miss then, but at least we still have Hifly (2 ex-TAP's), SATA (4) and White (3, two of them EX-TAP) operating in Portugal with this beautifull bird. Cheers

A clear case of transavionality. It's an F111 in an A310's body.

Good Job, You can see the wings are just in the picture, 1 sec. later and you haven't the whole bird on it. ;)

Looks like there is not too much distance between the photographer and the airplane. Just one question from the photographer: What kind of earplugs you have used?! I think the noise of such a huge bird in such a short distance is a little bit L-O-U-D!
