We are making our way to the Rwy 03 at LIS airport at the end of another nice sunny day and having the airport craved in the city allows always great views. Down there it’s the King Edward VII Park, home of a beautiful green house with plants from all over the world. On the roundabout there is the statue of Marques de Pombal, the responsible for the rebuilt of Lisbon after the 1755 earthquake. This all area is Lisbon’s downtown and if you’re planning to visit this corner of the world you cannot miss it

Splendid shot, very clear and sharp.
You do love this beautiful city and it shows both on your photo and the commentary. I did the same approach this very same month of august (A319 CS-TTD) unfortunately the stewardess being bitchy (frequent with TAP) asked me to shut it off immediately (as if i was a child caught stealing candy at the store)

Abraço,

That building to the right of the wing looks like a prison. Wonder how it looks inside.
