"City of Albuquerque". Seen over the numbers runway 27 operating one of many prisoner exchange flights between USA & Mexico in late 1970's. First flight was April 15, 1974. Delivery date was June 10, 1974. Built as DC-9-31, cvt'd to DC-9-32. Other serials - P4-DCA with Air Aruba & Cari Avtn Lsg, N3504T with New York Air & McDonnell Douglas Financing Corp, and also N19504 with Continental Airlines. Wears FN 504 with Continental Airlines & New York Air. Stored derelict at AUA (Aruba-Oranjestad) as P4-DCA.

Giving five stars to this photo was easy, unlike most record photos made static on a runway the aircraft is in flight, crisp clear image, doing what airplanes do... flying. These comments are from the actual designer of the graphics on the aircraft so I suppose these remarks count for something. g.m.de lesseps, art director/designer Ogilvy and mather advertising, houston texas in the 70's.
