Remark Photographer
HS-TGY (cn 28705/1164) The size of the B744 makes it look like it is lower when crossing the final stretch of sands before touching down on Phuket's runway 09. A pair of German tourists whipped out their point-n-shoots to capture this screaming beast. I capture them with the beast instead.

This reminds me of a time when my dad was going on a business trip and he said i couldn't come. So I started crying and said his plane was going to crash because it was dirty like this plane.

A visitor from - posted Thu October 9, 2008:
All airlines flying to HKT ro SXM should ensure that their birds are spotlessly clean...this is one really dirty aircraft..and I sure am not flying Thai..

Brilliant camera work

This image has all the ingredients for a vanGogh painting:
a beautiful landscape, a rippled turquoise sea, a fishing boat, golden sand, dark green vegetation,
humans, a soft colored sky. Add the high tech overhead (even from the national carrier), all arranged in perfect proportions. This is art at its finest. Thank you, KC, for sharing it with us!

A visitor from United States posted Wed January 25, 2006:
Good quality and position of the aircraft, the ominous weather in the backround add character to the shot and having other people in the picture gives it good perspective

A visitor from Philippines posted Wed January 25, 2006:
Wow!!! Never thought I'd be getting shots like this without having to go all the way to SXM. Phuket is only about 2 or 3 hours away from Manila. That 747 needs a wash real bad now. The A330's they bring to Manila are in much worse shape.

A visitor from Portugal posted Wed January 25, 2006:
Should we sit there facing the ocean or facing the sky??

A visitor from Canada posted Thu January 19, 2006:
I like this because it looks more natural (no building, vehicle, etc) than the ones in SXM which has hotels, cars, etc... Glad you got this shot!!

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Thu January 19, 2006:
Hi Sim! good shot!

A visitor from United States posted Thu January 19, 2006:
All these planes now seem to be dirty. The airlines need to take care of these birds. Why would someone wana fly on a dirty plane?! Good picture thought. I agree your shot is alot better :)

A visitor from Thailand posted Thu January 19, 2006:
It's good.

A visitor from Mexico posted Wed January 18, 2006:
Good shot however the climatic conditions and dirty plane made this picture a little bit sadly. But every picture with a plane on it it's a good picture so congratulation

A visitor from Australia posted Wed January 18, 2006:
Wow! From the thumbnail view, this 744 looks like an A380

Great shot but this B744 looks very dirty. A dusk light would be very nice! But great after all, nice job!

I always like the beach shots, but this one the plane wasn't the best material. Yet it still warms my heart.
