American John Coale, who is making an attempt to fly solo around the world landed in Malta on 15-Jan-2004/15:45 local time, direct from Marrakech, a distance of just over 1,400 nautical miles. He started out from Houston, Texas, flying to San Juan in Puerto Rico, on Jan 5. Next Leg (6), departure from Malta (LMML) enroute to Luxor (HELX), Egypt [Distance 1181 NM]. He expects to conclude his world flight between February 19-20 when he flies from Hilo in Hawaii back to Houston.
