VH-TFI (cn 10134) TAA F-27 shown at Wellington Airport opening alongside its British competition, the Handley Page Dart Herald turboprop in BEA colours. NZ National Airways (NAC) bought F-27s also, and initially ordered eight series 100s, the first arriving in December 1960.
