TAA's second Airbus A300B4-203 VH-TAB, named 'John Oxley', does a light-weight cross-wind take-off from Canberra Airport in 1986. The occasion was the Canberra Day Skyfest Airshow. (TAA's First A300 was appropriately registered VH-TAA.) TAA became Australian Airlines, which was later taken over by Qantas. VH-TAB was delivered on 18Aug1981 (ex F-WZME); was leased to Condor as D-AITB, and left Qantas service on 28Mar1987 to TOA Japan as JA8263. Low Res photo.
