VH-TAC (cn 157) TAA's third Airbus A300B4-203 VH-TAC, named 'John Forrest', being 'turned around' on a sunny day at Brisbane in 1982. Substantial Ground Equipment was needed to handle this new 'wide-body' aircraft when introduced in Australia. (TAA's First A300 was appropriately registered VH-TAA.) TAA became Australian Airlines, which was later taken over by Qantas. VH-TAC had her First Flight on 24Aug1981 (as F-WZMS). I took this photo after a 1.1 hour flight from Sydney in VH-TAC.
