Flight 505 crashed during landing at the Harry S. Truman Airport (STT) on Dec 28, 1970. Two fatalities resulting in the only fatal accident for domestic US carrier in the year 1970 (would have been first nonfatal accident year). 48 passengers and 7 crew members were on board. At that time STT runway was 4.650 ft.
