TWA 24 heavy is seen lining up runway 24L wearing those wonderful "Starstream" colors. First flight was June 2, 1974. Delivery date was June 20, 1974. Built as TriStar 1, cvt'd to TriStar 50 in April 1981. Other serials - N31023 with Mach Aero International & Aviation Transactions. Wears FN 21023 with TWA. Stored at IGM (Kingman) on September 3, 1997 as N31023, & was broken-up with 71,299 hrs TT. Back then, there were more TWA TriStars departures from LAX then TWA 747 & 707 departures combined! So cool!
