It was a US based carrier, flying a US made aircraft, carrying US troops. One flag is all that is necessary. Great photo indeed.

This is a photo that needs no expanation...that is what photos should achieve. The nose bowl sits in my yard as a collectible from this aircraft. This photo gives it new meaning!

Brings back memories. Same Tail number I flew back from Germany to the USA when I left the Air Force in 1991. I remember some condensation build up and when we landed it all poured forward into the first class area. Many People got wet! Funny!

Amazing shot, but again, just like Pan Am did, only the US flag? They're returning US troops to Germany.... Why only the one flag? The ground truck guy got it.... Fly both flags! It classier! Amazing shot!
