The plane is not banking to the right as it may seem. I agree that it is a disorienting photo. If you observe closely, the airlerons and leading edges of the flaps are plain level.
Bank angle! Bank angle!
It´s took a fiew seconds till I come down (vertigo!) :))) Great angle!
Classic Innsbruck photo. Very nice indeed. Thank you and greetings from Ireland.
The vertical 'horizon' and smooth contours of the aircraft in relation to the cliff face, make a very arresting photograph!
Good departure! | |
I thought this shot was at a crazy angle...and then it hit me...it's a cliff!! 5/5-Great shot.
Aaaah now i get it! i thought that the blue stuff was a sea! no it is the sky haha
Very nice picture. reminds me of that popular phrase "thats not silver lining behind the cloud, its a mountain"
Simply stunning! | |
Fantastic shot, very confusing at first!
Absolutely stunning. Just amazing the detail and sense of adventure in this shot. Well done.
Oh crap, what is this, 1000 mm tele?
How did the hell did you take this picture??
When i saw this picture at first time, i thought it was the earth beside instead for a cliff. Very nice
What a disorienting shot. At first I thought this joker was doing a barrel roll or something. Then I realized it was a cliff in the background. Silly me. 5 stars.
Superb picture! | |
BANK ANGLE! BANK ANGLE! BANK ANGLE! lol thats what i though when i first saw it! what is that stuff to the right of the plane? mountains? nice shot!!
Amazing combination of background and aircraft, nice angle to take photo.
Where else do you see a pecfect backdrop for airliners like this? I love Innsbruck
Holy Cow. How did you do that?
So crisp and clear, excellent snap Florian! Kaz
Great work. Well done. Tony W
Incredible shot. well done.
Looks like he's on a 90 degree roll, with a rocky landscape and a a body of water ahead! Makes me a bit air sick just looking at the picture too long!! Great picture!!!!!
"Do NOT turn right on departure" .... Transavia's new livery looks good, doesn't it?
Bloody marvelous!! | |
This shot really fooled me Florian as I thought the plane was doing a loop....nice shot
I looked at the picture and thought "OMG, what a crazy pilot, what does he do to the passengers!" At first sight it really looks like the picture and the plane are inclined by 90° :)
Awesome shot Flo! Shame it wasnt as nice conditions that weekend i was out there! Chris
Lovely photo one of my all time favourites although it puzzels me alot!!!!
This is reallyu cool. | |
Nice view,I never saw something like that.
I honestly thought this plane was pulling some really funky stunt turn. Shows just how ignorant I am of a really great shot! ^__^
Well done again!! It wouldn't be half as good if centered 'correctly' - sometimes you simply have to try ;-) Digital GreetinX
Wow! Amazing shot AND composition! I prefer these "photographers' view"-pictures instead of the "cropped/centered" ones with just showing the aircraft... Seeing this makes me really impatient to go to Innsbruck myself. Thanks for sharing, there can be no better way to describe Innsbruck!
Excellent. Pozdrawiam Mati
Superb..nice angle..how near is the hill anyway
Heeeerrrrrrlllll... sorry, that view makes me air sick, but it is pretty cool.
WOW! I think that picture is amazing. I actually thought it was going 90 degrees to the side!
Great image-at first I thaught it was edgo of land coming to sea :/ From flight sim the average stall speed at a 40 degree bank is around 120mph but may differ in real life!
Very nice photo. Turn it clockwise and you can show a B737 on a 90 deg.roll!
WOW !! Is it flying to the moon ? Perfect shot. RL787 from Buenos Aires.
Looks like the photo has been turned to the right 90 degrees and the 737 with an awesome turn. Fantastic. T.B.
I can't believe this photo. It's sooo great!
Very nice indeed | |
Wonderful!Breathtaking! Makes me feel as if I am in the picture
Wow. Beautiful shot. Does the mountain make departures and approaches as hard as it looks?
Really nice, Florian. Congratulations.
Are there some of you guys thinking that this 737 is banking out of Innsbruck? The thing on the right is a slope from one of the mountains surrounding the city. She is actually climbing pretty straight out of INN. Banking isn't possible because you have to follow the Inn-valley to climb over the mountains. Impressive shot!!
Either he's turning like an F-18 or he's about to fly into a mountain!
I love the mountain in the background, makes it look like the plane is banking to the right when in fact its just climbing out
Very surprise, I thinks it is a dangerous manuvre
Awesome view - screwed with my head when I first opened it...
I feel like I need to lean in my chair when I look at this picture. It is wonderful! But what is the stall speed of a 737 at a 40 degree bank?
Wow! Sometimes you must break (almost) every rule to get a superb shot. This image is a case in point. Keep it rolling, mate! W.H.
Best of the best - truly a breathtaking shot. Got my vote!
Sweet photo! | |
Wunderbar..... Impressive airport
Absolutely fantastic shot Flo! One of my favourites from your collection.
Hi Florian, I also like the shot. Gives a good feel of how it is at Innsbruck.
