A visitor from - posted Mon September 14, 2009: About rectangle behind the flag. It's just small change in painting scheme. Here on A.net exist old (2006 yr) photo of this RA-96015, where russian flag has no rectangle. This rectangle exist also on other a/c, for example Yak-40 photo No.1121642

On old Aeroflot aircraft they had that im assuming because they blanked out the old USSR flag and just stuck on a russian flag. But this is a brand new plane with a brand new paint job... what is with the light rectangle coverd by the offset russian flag?
