Merge the nose of Fokker 70 and fuselage of Bombardier CRJ-200 with gear of ATR-42 and you get this TU-334 :).

A visitor from Malaysia posted Tue June 20, 2006:
Looks like a squashed Fokker 70, with (practically) non-existing wheels! Good shot! :)

A visitor from Netherlands posted Tue June 20, 2006:
Russians are good in copy. The VC-10 and the IL-62. And the Trident or 727 and the Tu-154

A visitor from Netherlands posted Tue June 20, 2006:
It is a BAC One Eleven with winglets and an another nose

A visitor from Germany posted Tue June 20, 2006:

If I only had a copy machine, may be I could also rise some eyebrows.

A visitor from Uruguay posted Tue June 20, 2006:
It looks stubby but with winglets. At first I thaught it was an ugly duckling, but now that I see is better, it does look cute, albeit stubby cute! :)

A visitor from Philippines posted Tue June 20, 2006:
It does look like more of a BAC 1-11. That thing needs a workout. Cute and chubby though.

A visitor from Mexico posted Tue June 20, 2006:
Beautiful plane

A visitor from Australia posted Tue June 20, 2006:

A visitor from Netherlands posted Mon June 19, 2006:
An obese F70, I would rather say.....

A visitor from Netherlands posted Mon June 19, 2006:
When goes this plane in commercial use?

A visitor from United States posted Mon June 19, 2006:
Reminds me of a BAC 1-11 or maybe a thicker fuselage DC-9.

A visitor from Netherlands posted Mon June 19, 2006:
It looks a one eleven because it is a "low rider"

A visitor from Denmark posted Mon June 19, 2006:
Cute little one-
and yes it looks like a fokker 70 or a bac one eleven ^^

A visitor from Brazil posted Mon June 19, 2006:
It has an executive jet´s landing gear, 737-700 wings, tail and nose of a fokker 100. Cool!

A visitor from United States posted Mon June 19, 2006:
Stubby!!!!

A visitor from United States posted Mon June 19, 2006:
Very cute picture of new Tu-334. But, it is very small baby jet. It is horrible for do that with Russian jet.

A visitor from Germany posted Mon June 19, 2006:

A visitor from Netherlands posted Mon June 19, 2006:

Nice to see a unique plane, there are so few in these Airbus/Boeing wing mounted twin times. I always thought the 334 looked kinda like an F28 tadpole!

A visitor from United States posted Mon June 19, 2006:
Sure is a cool looking little jet! Sorta like a cross between a classic DC9 and a Fokker ... So how many airlines are signed up for it, and are its economics such that it has any chance at all of being seen in the States?

A visitor from United States posted Mon June 19, 2006:
This is what I call a "lowrider"
