XH559 A Royal Air Force Vulcan B2 Bomber orbits RAAF Laverton airfield during the RAAF's 50th Anniversary Air Display at Laverton on 18Apr1971. A most impressive 'V Bomber' showing her delta planform in style. Melbourne laid on a sunny day for a change! This Vulcan B2 was XH559 of No 230 OCU from RAF Scampton in Lincolnshire. XH559 had a single ECM plate fitted between the starboard engines, twin Skybolt attachment points, deep air-intakes but has never been equipped with TFR. Aircraft positively Identified as XH559 by Craig Bulman on 07Aug2012.
