A Typhoon of 1 Squadron taxies off the end of Runway 08 in beautiful early evening light. In the background, the yellow flowers on the prickly gorse bushes which surround the perimeter fence are currently in full bloom and the air is full of a heady mixture of its coconut-like scent and kerosene as the Typhoon taxies past. Bliss!
