XL189 Seen here with 55 Sqdn, seven years later this Victor was to play a crucial role with 57 Sqdn in the first 'Black Buck' raid on the Falklands by Vulcan XM607, under the command of Sqdn Ldr Bob 'Tux' Tuxford who gained the AFC for his heroics. Full story in the book 'Vulcan 607'.

WOW! FEEL THE POWER! I can fell and hear the power of engines! If I remeber right, Victor K2 was originally a strategic bomber and converted to tanker when British gov give main role of her strategic defence to the Royal Navy submarines.
