A visitor from - posted Mon March 29, 2010: Very interesting picture, but it appears to me to be a "tail pipe fire," which usually blows out by the time the engine comes up to speed during engine start and usually causes no damage. So, was the engine actually damaged? Again, thanks for sharing, because it's something you don't see every day.
